1996 CC Magna 40 foot

Yahoo Message Number: 754
Hello:

Looking at 30k mile unit, very clean, 330 Cummins, new tires, on Gillig chassis.

Does anyone have any info on this vintage coach's reputation?

Thanks

Dean,

Are you sure it is 40ft? I've got the RV rating book from JD Gallant and it only has 38ft in it for 96. On the 38 ft, it has a wheelbase ratio that is 59% "excellent". Net Payload "good". Value 90 Durability 90 Highway control 99 High safety 97 5 stars. Looks very good from the book and this guy rates VERY TOUGH. My husband calls him the Ralph Nader of RVs.

Hope someone has first hand experience for you.

We own a 36' foot 1996 Magna, Gillig chassis but with a Detroit engine. We've had it since new and have been extremely happy with it.

Whoops!! is a Detroit and probably is a 38 ft although dealer said 49 ft. NADA lists only a 38 ft also. Hey, 5 stars is good enough for me. Really liked the unit except no slide. But will be a weekend coach so do not need the slide now.

Thanks all for info.

FYI, check out this site: http://www.morrisonsvipcoach.com/ especially the Photo Gallery with over 300+ pictures. There is a Beaver Marquis kitchen slide in there that the customer saved over $300K over trading up to a newer coach.

We can do an Aftermarket Motorhome Slideout Conversion to almost every coach out there.
