cabinet catches

Our 1995 Intrigue which we recently purchased came with some broken cabinet catches and I've not had any luck finding replacements either locally or on the web. Has anyone found a good source? As far as I can tell, these are, or are like 'bulldog catches', plastic, a square projecting piece that fastens onto the door in the upper corner that inserts and locks by friction into a receptical piece that attaches to the cabinet frame.

Thanks in advance for your help!

When we bought our Intrigue we found the same problem and ended up calling CC parts in JC and bought replacements from them.

A few of mine broke off as well and I found replacements at Deluxe RV located in Paramount, CA. They are not cheap either! Smaller ones are about $6.00 and larger ones about $8,50 a peice. Seems they are distributed by a company called A-Z products located in Riverside or San Bernadino, CA but I haven't been able to locate a web site for them?

I had those catches in some cabinets and a similar brass catch which have tension adjustments in other cabinets. The choice appeared to be based on the weight of the door or the "vanity" locations where others might see them.

I stopped to buy some from CC in Junction City. They said they no longer use the plastic variety and sold me a dozen brass catches for about $2.00 each. The brass ones work much better.

CW, can you email me a photo as it sounds like you are describing what I call a finger catch.
If so they are redily available from cabinet shops ( we also have them).
