Hi,

We're Dale & Rita Heins. We own a 2000, 40' Allure - LaPine. Got it new last year from LazyDays in Florida. We have been full-time since 09/97 and have no home base. Claim Texas as our official residence.
Have had only two mayor problems to date with the coach. Paint on the entrance door is peeling which will be repaired under warranty when we are scheduled for maintenance at the factory in April 2002 and the other is the awning over slide out opening while traveling in high winds. We are going to have some travel locks added to prevent it from happening again at that time also.
Would like to know what type of camping arrangements are available at the factory and what people do if maintenance prevents you from staying in your coach overnight?

Look forward to using the web site and talking to other owners.

Dale

Welcome!!

CC has full hookups right at the factory. As of a year ago there were some additional, newer sties that had only elect. Across the street from the full-hookup sites, CC has a customer lounge. It has a TV, coffee machine (I think) and restroom facilities. We have found our visits to the customer lounge quite "interesting" on our last stop. It seemed as though a few "negative apples" can sure spoil the barrel. The attitude did get a bit depressing in the lounge. Some folks just expect ULTIMATE PERFECTION with every minor detail and to have it delivered immediately. And when they don't get what they "think" is PERFECTION, the conversation can deteriorate. But then, as with anything in life, you get to meet some wonderful people there that you will want to stay in touch with as you motor down the road. So enjoy your stay the folks at CC with do what they can to make you happy.
You are within walking distance from the town and a couple of restaurants.
One located in the old train station serves a great breakfast and dinner.
While at the factory, CC does make every effort to allow you to stay in your coach. If that is not possible there are several motels within a few minutes drive of the factory.

The factory team has always treated us well and done an excellent job.

Wishing you the best. Den

Dale - We are also full time RV's in our 2000 Allure La Pine.
As to the facilities in Juntion City - dubbed by me as Camp Country Coach - There are 11 sites with full hookups. There are two other areas that only have water and electric.
As one who has spent a bit of time this last summer at CCC, let me give you a word of advice. Arrive on a Friday and chat with those still in the full hook up areas. Usually someone is getting ready to pull out on Saturday or Sunday after their service is complete. On the week ends, it is first come, first served. During the week, from 8 to 5, the spots are blessed by a real swwt gal named Angel who looks out the window across the street. She keeps an eye on who is where and when they are due to pull out. She keeps the list and assigns open spots during her time "on duty"
You will 99 times out of 100 have your coach back at night. No - You don't have to sleep in the street! The service people are great.
When we were there during the summer, the fellows in service were working 10 hour days. That meant getting up early for a 6:45 to 7:00 coach pick up and getting them back about 5:15 to 5:30. Those are long days.
Lori is the Customer Lounge is another sweetie. They have coffee every morning and Lori makes a goodie run on her way to work.
The people there are really helpful. Lori knows all the ins and outs of the area. Then there is always Karen and Judy of CCI and they help you also. Great people to know.
Funny you mentioned the door thing. Ours has just now started to bubble also! Can't believe it.

Questions - Just ask. Kathy
