I downloaded Google chrome and now I can see old posts, search and answer my old ones and replies.

I checked the valve and it isn't leaking. I ran the pump using the outside faucet for 20 minutes to empty the tank.
It is still coming on, just at longer intervals in between instead every 40 seconds for 2.5 seconds it is coming on every 10 to 15 minutes for a couple of seconds. I know it isn't leaking in the coach because I would of found that much water if it leaked.

In my case it was a garden hose washer leaking slightly, behind the refer. This allowed water to drip into the outside refer door compartment and drip down onto the ground through the propane bay door. I had water under the refer and slightly unto the kitchen tile and other places.

Haven't had to use my water pump for about a year. Checked it today and it is inop. Fuse appears ok, light on the switch in the bathroom comes on. Do I have to replace this, or is there somewhere else for me to check. Also cleaned the connectors to the pump.

Tom, is the pump making noise? if it sound like it wants to work it might have lost its prime.

I am thinking about upgrading the water pump in my coach. Does anyone have any thoughts about what brand or type I might consider.

Thanks

We like the Aqua-jet model 55-AQUAJET-AES
It is a 3.5GPM at 80psi, they also make a 5.3GPM but only recommend that one if the supply lines are big enough - IMO ¾"? or bigger, I have made it work ok with 5/8"? lines.
IMO more pressure is what really counts, more pressure makes it easier for washing soap out of long hair.. And when she's happy.... I'm HAPPY!

Our house water pump is not working. I can bypass the pressure switch and the pump will turn on, so I am assuming the pump is ok. Does anyone know what brand pump was used in 05 inspires? Cannot see any info on pump or on the pressure switch. Cannot find any literature in my files regarding the pump. Next step would be removing the entire pump but really don't want to.
Thanks

Tom,

If the pressure switch is not mounted to or a part of the pump, you can go to Lowe's, etc and get a well pump pressure switch and install that, That will get you going quick and probably less money than an exact replacement.

Thanks Mikee, but the switch is part of the pump. Seemed to remember a while back someone replacing his pump with a higher flow pump, but cannot find the message Tom

Recently my water pump stopped working. I have the Shurflo 5.7GPM unit. Shurflo doesn't make that anymore. They make a 4.1GPM unit to replace it with. Has anyone used this or did you find another company that makes one comparable to the 5.7GPM unit? I would really like to not lose the water pressure we are used to.

Thanks,

Eric,

Look into an Aqua Tech. They make the best pumps I have found. OEM on my coach. Not cheap.

Eric,

When my 5.7 died, I replaced it with the 4.1, mainly because the swap was a piece of cake. The mounting is the same, as are the input/output connections.
The 4.1 is not as quiet as the 5.7, but the pressure is adequate for us. Too bad Shurflo dropped the 5.7.

My water pump has stopped working, does anyone know where the fuse is for the water pump in a 2002 Allure? I can't find a listing for the water pump in either of the fuse boxes.

Its usually in an inline fuse holder ( mine have both been red) with in a foot or so from the connection to the pump in the plumbing bay. TWI 98 Allure 30255 and now 2004 Intrigue 11731
