Water Spots

First, thanks for the info on the Truck Stops on I-95 the info is most helpful.

Second......

After thoroughly cleaning all my side windows, I still see a hint of water spots as I view the windows from the outside while looking at them from an angle. When looking through the windows from the inside, and looking directly at them from the outside, I see no water spots. I can see the spots on all the windows when viewed at an angle as I walk around the coach. I've used Windex and a ZEP (glass and all surface) foaming cleaner, but both do not remove those spots.
Does anyone know of any kind of glass cleaner that will remove those darn water spots?

Thanks,

Denny,

If you can find it, Glass Wax, comes in a can. You'll never forget it once you use it. It's in a bright pink can with red letters. If you can find it there is nothing better. Here is a link where at least you can see what the can looks like.

The Old Vermont Country Store has their own product that they claim is made just like Glass Wax. I've never tried it.

Denny,

Let me second Al's comment. Not long ago I tried Invisible Glass and found it to be terrific. Like many RVers I have tried many products but never found one better than plain water until Invisible Glass.
Also tried various wax but found that when using the wipers the wax built up on the blades. Invisible Glas is advertised in some RV mags but I also found it at Sam's club.

While you can try various products, the guy who heads the mobile RV wash team at Florida's Lazydays told me a few weeks ago that it's pretty much a hopeless cause once those spots set on the silvered window surface for a bit. He said that they have new CC coaches there with permanently spotted windows.

A 50/50 mix of white vinager and water works fantastick on the water spots on the windows and my wife uses this mix on the counters inside as well.

I just had a guy polish my coach and he used that product "Dri Wash and Guard, that you might have seen. Other CCer's I know have recommended it. I ahd those spots and he took them off with the Dri Wash and guard's metal polish, of all things. Then I remembered they were copper tinted. Makes sense. They look great. You can find it on the internet. I tried other stuff including vinegar- nothing got them off. This did.
