Hot "rear bay on passenger side."

We use Inspire engine heat to dry & disinfect cat litter boxes in rear curb side storage bay. ;)

The cats have access to that bay from cabinet above and thru access plate hole in bay top. Minor carpentry completed two level cat restroom.

Siamese cats seem willing to use the bay when we stop. We store only a wood shelf, carpet & catboxes in that bay. Plastic cat boxes have survived so far. No other use for such heated storage seems reasonable.

Eric and Terry, I am amazed your cats aren't toasted in that compartment. My compartment isn't hot, it is a blast furnace!
If you have air transferring into your stateroom from that compartment, it might help explain why your air conditioner seems to be substandard. (Was that your earlier post about the possible need for three roof a/c's?)
We live in Florida and driving in 90+ temperatures is the norm. The dash air, on low fan setting, keeps us very comfortable. Granted, it will not cool the entire coach, but we only go aft to use the head or grab a drink from the galley.

Last trip was made without cats. The right rear bay (cat restroom) door was shut, so no heat came in that way.
Very little air flow is available there as the bay is sealed to the cabinet above it and bay is not otherwise ventilated.
Yes, we wrote asking if the longest floor plan of Inspire needed a third roof AC.

We want to know why roof ACs can not maintain temperature. Both ACs seem to make equal air flow & temperature. Filters are cleaned often.
If the cause of problem was know before we travel to shop, much bother could be avoided.

Are the ACs both bad? Is much of the insulation missing? Is much insulation damaged by some unknown water leak? Could this be related to rusty water leaking from coach near bottom rear corners of front slides? We only saw the rusty water on first rest stop of two trips.
Maybe water had been in roof till the coach was driven? Will this problem require repeated trips to service shop?
