Does Perma-Plate really remove the need to wax?

Yahoo Message Number: 17687
I am in the process of buying a 2004 Inspire, and the dealer is eager to sell me a paint protection package called 'Perma-Plate'. Way too expensive, I know, but the claim is that with this applied, I don't have to wax the unit.

Any experiance with this product? In particular, anyone apply it and then not wax their unit?

It's also known as "Snake Oil" but if you can afford a coach like that why not give it a try? Ron 98 Allure 30185

I have not used that product, however I do use 303 areospace product from camping world on the end caps and roof only. Product can be purchased online from camping world for approximately $25 per gallon.
One gallon has lasted me two years. Hope this helps.

Permaplate's primary purpose is to remove the cash from your pocket and place it in the Dealers Finance and Insurance department.
It was sold years ago from a covered wagon and then was called Snake Oil.
After 20 years in the car business, I can vouch for the fact that it's not worth the money.
