Poor heat volume to front of '02Allure (long)

Before we left the dealership and after spending a night in the new coach we found this engineering problem. Over night temps droped to 38 so I kicked on the furnace, while in the rear of the coach we were warming up nicely, however up front it was frigid. The heat vent openings under the sofa and dinette were nearly dead while the ones in the back were "blowing like mad". Here's the rundown; between the refer and the fore shower wall there are two openings, one with ajustable duct cover blowing toward the kitchen the other back against the exterior coach wall that aligns with a duct that runs under the refer base at the front then on to the front vents. This transition point is about 2" apart and unilizes the whole floor to ceiling gap to contain and route the heated air to the lower duct.
There is a rubber gasket that does'nt seal tightly so much of the heat gets out along the seal. With the termostat above the front door you can see that the furnace will not shut down until the rear of the coach is "HOT". One thought I had was to run another gasket/seal horizontally just above the transition vent diameter. I have notified CC and and engineer is working on it.
Any ideas?
Allen

There are two "work arounds". One is to tun the front heat only and keep the vents open through-out the coach with the doors closed to the bedroom. Enought heat will seep through the vents.

Here is the "best way" we have found: First of all but a down comforter, they are fantastic. Secondly, get a fairly small catalytic heater with a thermostat on it. Put it up form and set in on 60-65.
The bonus is that you get to use park power instead of your LPG.
The fact of the matter is that the front of the caoch just gets flat out cold.

P.S. We have the optional Hurricane diesel heater. It is really worth the cost. I was skeptical at first. It keeps the water pipes from freezing too. Is is a little noisey, but I am working on soundproofing the bay that it is in. Oddly enough, it is quieter ouside the coach that inside???

My '02 Allure doesn't have Hurricane heat but I do have what I consider a serious problem with little heat up front. Look at post #960 for the rundown on my problem. I have an appointment with the dealer in a month so hopefully they'll get it sorted out.
