Slideout seal loose

How are the slideout seals affixed to the the exterior wall of the coach? Are they simply "glued" or are they compressed into a retainer slot or are they mechanically attached? If they are simply "glued", what type of adhesive is used? Perhaps a cyanocrilate? Does anyone have experience with this? The top seal on our bedroom slide "disengages" from its slot when the slide is extended.
