ADVANTIUM OVEN Digest Number 1840

Hi Denny and group,

My original post was a little confusing, Sorry.
My wife has a wish list for a kitchen remodel in a regular stick house. We are trying to determine if it is worth the extra $650 to install a 220V Advantium as opposed to the 110V version.
Thanks to those who answered privately and on the forum, we now have enough information to make a decision.
Sorry for the confusion, it was never our intent to install a 220V unit in the coach.

Have a great day and watch out for crushed lemons.

I've thought about the same thing if the ovens went out in the stick house. I like the Advantium in the coach so well. But...we're selling the house this year and full timing, so doesn't look like I'm going to have to do any changes with the kitchen.
I did notice that in our previous coach the oven did not work well with only the inverter, but did fine on generator. Figured out that they work better with the pure sine-wave inverter and not the one we had in the other coach. It is nice to have this one work no matter what type of power we're on.
I think the difference would be in how many amps you pull between 110 and 220 and that would affect speed. We're thinking of exchanging our propane cook top for an electric one and have to make a decision between the 2 types of electrical feeds.
As for lemons...this coach is so much better than the previous coach we had. What a relief! All we'll hear is the unhappy person's story and never both sides or the truth.
