Heated Floors

For those that have had some questions regarding the thermostats for your heated floors, I would like to pass on some information I have gathered while looking to update my manually operated thermostat with the programmable thermostat.

First, from what I can gather, Gold Heat is a either the name of integrator or supplier to CC - maybe just the parts, consulting, or whatever?? The floor mat appears to standard household heat mats that must be custom made to CC specs as I have seen for same on several websites that specialize in radiant heat. The thermostat that is in my coach is manufactured by Auer Technologies out of Canada who seems to only supply to distributors, not directly.

They are great for technical advice. The URL that gets you to the programmable thermostat (TF115-F-120GA) is:
http://www.aubetech.com/products/produitsDetails.php? noProduit=31&noLangue=2

And e-mail@: Service Account (QB19) [QB19.Service@...]

Note that their appears to be all kinds of thermostats but the ones used in the coaches are very specific because of GFI and temperature requirements.

I got a replacement thermostat from a distributor on the east coast named Warmly Yours. They were the cheapest and have online PDF manuals and help sheets that should provide all the needed information if CC failed to include OEM info for the unit. In fact, they have a help sheet that narrows down the programming to one sheet. Their URL is:

http://www.warmlyyours.com/homeowner/estore/choosefoil.aspx
I have installed the new unit but have not had a chance to really test it out becuase my coach is still in storage.

Hope this helps....
