LPG Bay floor and mudflap

Yahoo Message Number: 1189
Country Coach responded to my question concerning the installation of a mudflap and possibly a floor in the LPG compartment to eliminate or reduce cosmetic damage caused by road debris from the front passenger wheel.

As expected they could see no problem with installing a mudflap.
Their response on the floor was OK but not to enclose the rear or sides of the LPG tank to make sure there was plenty of ventilation.
Based on their input I plan to install a mudflap, repaint the damaged area and see what happens after a few miles. If the road debris is still causing a problem I will then consider installing a floor of some kind.

As and alternative, I sprayed the underside of our 98 Allure's LP tank with 3M undercoating to get around some of the rock damage. I worked well. The same stuff can be sprayed around other areas the get pounded by rocks along the way.
