Can engine ECM connector be disconnected witho...

Larry, on my 97 affinity, the wire from the jake brake on/off switch to the brake relay is #G146C. I drew a new line beside it in my manual for the next guy.

Thanks Claude. My numbering scheme is different than yours. I don't see that number on my schematic.

If you have a multimeter, see if you have 12vdc power available at the on/off switch. If you do, and you can identify the correct wire number for your coach, turn on the switch and check for 12vdc at the relay. In my case, there was power to the switch but none at the relay.

Yes, I have done some checks and do have 12 volts at the switch from ignition and if I remember correctly, 12 volts at the relay. I do only have 4.6 volts on one of the wires at the switch (which is new) and I think somewhere on the relay (new)too. But, you have me thinking and I think I go back and check a couple of things. Thanks Claude.
