Allison temps

Yes, as we have discussed a few weeks back, our Inspire trans temps are too high.
You can look at the Allison manual and get the parameters but, I feel, they are still high when compared to the FMCA article and our old coach. The MA, trans temp, never ran over 175 on even a hot hot day. 180 on engine temp and didn't move. Why !!!!! The radiator fan ran all the time. Our engine temps are also high with the Inspire.
This is my therory. The Allison, in the Inspire, has the smallest capacity of all Allison 3000's. 2 inch pan. We all know that the more capacity, the larger the heat sink. Why does CC use this trans when they could opp for a large pan??? Also, it is about the cooling system design. The trans cooler is in the radiator, and the coolent temp in this radiator is as low as the trans fluid can be cooled. Well the fan control does not increase speed till the radiator temp reaches 208 degrees. So, the trans fluid really only gets cooled to 208 when we are driving down the road. Engine likewise. Now, temps in the radiator can run cooler, like in traffic, when the engine is not producing a ton of heat. Our Inspire engine temps cool down to 190 and stay there in traffic.
The trans will heat up in traffic which I understand, and putting in neutral stops that issue. The trans temp sending unit is in the line to the cooler, which is the hotest point for trans. I think CC needs to review the fan control temps. Also, is the trans cooler large enough ? This is my thought's, I could be all wet and your comments a certainly welcome.
