Sorry-

I had the distinctive clicking sound start happening about a year ago- would have to pull at a further and further extented handle-thought I needed to fix before I could not open-

Try a QUICK pull several times in a row- won't fix it but may open-
My Fix- took out the complete handle- Then you can see what triggers the release- I raped some steeless steel wire around a part that would trip it quicker- taking off all the clipped to get handle out is no fun -
