US 50 across Nevada

Anyone driven US 50 across Nevada? I'm taking the scenic route to Junction City to pick up my new (2002) coach in about a week. Driving US93 to US 6 to US50 and across.

I'm stopping in Eureka, NV for the night. Is there fuel across that route? It's a ways from tne Utah line to Reno. Ely and Eureka look like decent sized towns, but I can't find any indication of fuel from Exxon, Texaco or Chevron. Might be others there...
Comments? Advice? I'll be in my Chev pickup, not the Allure. Coming back, I'm sticking to the interstates until I get the feel of driving a MH again. It's been 3-4 years since I've driven one any distance.

David: I owned a hunting/fishing lodge about 20 miles south of US50 on NV 378 (between Austin and Tonopah) I've driven 50 from Fallon to Ely to Provo/SLC. It's a good road (except in a winter blizzard), and most of it is beautiful country---especially thru the Toiyabe range. Fuel, either gas or diesel is no problem, as it's a trucking route. I've taken rvs (both gas/diesel) along the route; and, altho there's some pretty good altitudes, the grades are not bad. I had no problem with heavily loaded rigs and towing a heavily loaded pick-up. It's been 5+ years since I drove it-- but at that time there was ample fuel at Fallon, Austin, 50/378 intersection, and @ Ely. It's a little hot at this time of year, but otherwise an enjoyable run.

Thanks for the information. I've heard from my Harley friends that one needs to stop as often as you see fuel...but then a Harley is range challenged at about 150 miles/tank. The Chev will go 600+ if you believe the electronic range calculations. The new coach will go back on a more tame route until I'm comfortable driving a 40ft coach and 25ft toad (it's not a small Chev for sure...).
I would like to return another time and do some fishing through that area and YellowStone. Maybe workcamp in the Park. Now that I'l have the vehicle to support that, it might be come a reality next summer...?? Heck, maybe I'll just send my spouse back and forth to Ft. Worth while I roam that part of the US... LOL.
