Paint shop in Palm Springs

Yahoo Message Number: 25768
A fellow CC Intrigue owner said he saw an article or an ad in Destinations magazine about a paint shop in Palm Springs that would clear coat the roof and end caps, and bake, for around $2K. He couldn't remember the name. I looked at the Destinations on line and couldn't find anything. Can anybody help? Any suggestions in Tucson or Phoenix?

Thanks

I believe you are thinking of "The Paint Department" in Chico, CA one hour west of Palm Springs. They quoted me about 2500 to reclear area that were peeling. I am going to do a full body paint on our coach this winter. The price is 15000 to 18000. Yikes, but it's less expensive than a newer coach, besides we love our coach. I live in Tucson and have not found anyone that I can recommend or have seen any coaches that have been painted here. There is one shop in Tucson called "Old English Creations" they have a 65' spray booth, but I don't know about his knowledge of motorhomes. I have talked to him in the past and he quoted me about 8000 to paint my old 32' Pace Arrow. I think any quality FBP of CC quality is going to cost 15000 plus.

You can email me if you want to discuss this more. Please, don't think about getting your coach painted in Mexico.
