Hi Frank, We have been towing a 2005 F150 extended cab 4x4 with a manual transfer case for almost 2 years. I installed a M & G brake cylinder on the truck myself for supplemental braking. Have had absolutely no trouble............make the hitch, lights, and air line for brakes and I'm off. No alteration to vehicle, just place transfer case in neutral and you're off!

THE 2006 F-150 LARIAT 4X4 SUPERCREW DOES NOT HAVE A MANUEL TRANSFER CASE, JUST A SWITCH ON THE DASH.
