Digital Voltage Readout on Monitor Panel

Yahoo Message Number: 1750
For those who do not have a readout of the domestic(house) battery voltage, consider the one shown in the 2 attached photos. The readout was purchased from www.gadgetseller.com/gauges/other for $56 (includes shipping) and is very accurate. In the first photo, the negative post of the readout is connected to the ground lug on the Generator Hours readout and the positive post is connected to the black lead on the connector of the Tank Levels process circuit board (note the yellow tie wrap). Comparing this voltage to the chassis(start) battery voltage at engine start gives an indication of the battery boost contactor operation. After the contactor is closed as indicated by the pressure switch led indicator extinguishing (see my previous posting on this subject), the two voltages should be the same within 0.1 vdc.
