faulty backup cameras

At the recent rally in Georgia the owner of a '02 Intrigue pulled in saying his camera "went out". It was fixed at the rally. 3 weeks later the camera on our '01 Intrigue "went out". CC says they're having trouble with the chips. Apparently they send them off and have them reprogrammed. They sent me a replacement (no cost for camera but I pay labor). It comes with a new "box" which fits under dash (apparently) but no instructions at all. I unplugged the failed camera and plugged in the new one and got nothing on my Panasonic dash unit. I haven't replaced that metal box that came with it.
Scheduled into a shop in Mass in 2 weeks. Anyone else having camera problems?

We have a 2000 Intrigue--dealing with LongView RV in Ct. We had the backup camera replaced--then sent out to replace chips---that still didn't work-now they are replacing the whole camera again, with a newer model--actually have to bondo the coach because this camera is smaller. No Charge for anything! Have not picked up unit yet. Will be picking up this week.
We've been told CC has had lots of problems with the backup camera. Not just us.
