Bedroom Window Shade

The window shade in the bedroom window (driver's side) came loose and needs to be reattached. However, either there are missing parts, or I don't have the mechanical ability to figure how to reattach it. I am requesting illustrated assembly/disassembly instructions showing all required parts. Specifically, I can't figure out what the top part of the shade attaches to, or how it attaches. There are two L-shaped copper braces at each end of the window (top), as shown in the attached photos. Perhaps, the shade attaches to these braces, but I can't figure out how. There is a retangular plastic piece with a hole in it at each end of the shade assembly (top), but it does not seem to align with the braces, no matter how they are positioned. There are also two silver braces at each end of the decorative 'frame' that surrounds the window, but what they're for, I don't know. Maybe they're stops. I don't think anything attaches to them.
I'm embarrassed that I can't figure out something that is probably pretty simple, but I've looked at the window shade right-side up, up-side down, turned up and down, and every which way, and I just can't figure it out withour further instructions. I might have to take it to a service center, but I hope I don't have to pay someone to do this simple job.

Don't feel bad! We had two of our shades taken out for repair at the Reunion Rally last year. It took two CC Techs to figure out how to put the shade back up into those clips. Since you have "seen" what the clips look like, and "if" you have small enough fingers, maybe after some struggling, you can get that shade to clip. There just isn't much room up in the shadow box to position and rotate the top of the shade.

Yes, indeed, all that you say is very true. I finally got the shade clipped in by removing the surround frame so I could see what I was doing. Even then it wasn't easy. Then had a hard time getting the shade back inside the frame, and now I can't get to the brackets at the top corners of the frame to put the screws in. Will have to figure out some other way to secure the frame to the wall. I don't think I want to take the whole shibang off again.
