DVD and Cabinet

James, I got water in my cabinet also. Water came in from awning over door not being caulked properly. Messed up the wood cabinet some, but what was worse was the scratches the Techs put on the cabinet front taking components out and putting back in during repair. I guess all components work though. I've used everything except the VCR. I've never used the VCR since I had the coach, just the DVD.
Lon, my coach came with a Jamo DVD player. Piece of junk, but it did survive a flood. Maybe CC got them on sale from some decommissioned Taiwan submarine fleet.

LOL, all I can say is the exterior repair on my coach looks like a kid did it, and I wonder how much they charged CC for the work. What I had asked for is to have the components taken out and inspected, as well as look for the leak. My ideas was to repair the awing from the inside as this looked to be the only point of entry. Much to complicated, written notes pictures, and one month get me waiting another month and 3 weeks to go at it again. If you think about it, a crap DVD is really no big deal money wise when compared to our original investment, but in my case limited use of the DVD, and almost 4 to 5 months just on the same issue. So I ask myself how valid is a 12 month warranty when you can not get it in for a fix anyway, or at least not a fix on the first try.
I should mention I made another large mistake. With service center I mixed contract work with warranty work, and that has never worked for me, and you would think I should know better, I guess that is why I am the ""king of pooh" I am either in it, around it or smell it? You would have to see prior post for connection.
I wonder how many lAMO Jamo's CC installed? Does anyone know of this brand? I am thinking they were covers for Weapons for Mass Destruction, and were later reused as Jamo DVD's

Just a reminder... be sure to take your coach to Cummins for the final warranty service before you hit your 5 year anniversary. I had no problems, but took the coach in anyway to have the tech check it over.
The service tech found that I needed the "330 campaign" service and also a small leak around the jake brake ring needed to be repaired.

Jamo is a very well-known and respected European manufacturer of sound equipment. Like B&O their philosophy is totally different than that of the Orientals .
They are trying to achieve a more delicate accurate sound rather than a blow the doors off approach.
