Flooring and Splendide Washer/Dryer

I had a leak problem with my washer as well. When I pulled it our of the closet, I found the vent connection was not done correctly. The connection in the washer is 2" and the vent pipe is 4". I installed a home made reducer and have not had a problem since. Since I competed the job, I have see the reducer for sale at Ace Hardware. I also put a pan that I bought from Splendide under the washer. Getting the washer in and out can be a challenge. Hope this helps.
