HWH Air leak

I am sitting in a level rented space #4855 (for 8 more days) at Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort enjoying the sun, when we started hearing a air hiss, like when the coach might be leveling. But it continued and continued until all the air was depleted. We still had air brake air. Sounded like coming from rear axle area. Started the engine. Released and set the air parking brake to force into travel mode but would not go into travel mode, nor did the coach raise. Set engine to run at 1000 RPM using cruise control. Compressor would build up some pressure and hissing would pick up, but not enough compressor air to build the brakes back up to 120 psi (no change in brake air pressure from current 90 psi) or to raise the rear of the coach.

Of course the back end is down so it will probably need to be jacked and blocked up to get underneath to inspect.

We got hold of Jim at CC Technical Support this Saturday morning.
He advised bleeding the air brake down BELOW 90 so that the compressor's secondary reeds kick in to increase compressor output.
Sure enough, the brake pressure raised to 125 psi, and the coach went into HWH travel mode, lifting the mud flap off the ground.
When engine was turned off, no more hiss/leak/stuck valve. Turned ignition switch back on, and leveled the coach. Acted normally - hissing briefly to drop the rear just a little. We will play with it a few more times over the next couple of days. Might have been a sticky valve.

It is good to know that the compressor can keep up with a stuck valve (once the air brakes go below 90 psi).
Once it is aired up and level, I could possibly pull the HWH fuse to avoid activation of the valve if the intermittent problem persists.

This would have been exceptionally frustrating if I had just fired up the coach to leave for another location, and could not get the rear bags inflated.

The big red travel warning light would be handy right now.

Ideas as to cause or past experiences are still welcomed.
