Sprint Aircard

Hi everyone,

We have been using a Sprint Aircard to access the Internet.
Just received a bill that shows many additional chargeable minutes. When I called Sprint they said it was voice calls over the Aircard. As this is not right I asked for the phone numbers called and sure enough they go to a computer.
Have not resolved this yet, just wondered if anyone else using Sprint Aircard has seen any sudden change in their recent bill?

I have the Sprint Air Card (USB)with an unlimited usage accopunt.

I have never gotten an answer to: Is VOIP billed as data or voice? i.e. if I use Skype/Vonage/etc with the unlimited aircard account will Sprint see that communication as "voice" and bill me at $0.40/minute or if they accept it as data it is free under my unlimited account.

Has anyone tried a Vonage adapter with the sprint cellular internet access? How is the connectivity?

I'm sure that it would treated just like any other data stream on your connection. You can get an get an idea how your Sprint Air Card will handle VOIP by using it to connect to the following website to test it: http://www.testyourvoip.com/

I have used my sprint phone with bluetooth to the Xp notebook for 2 years and now it is powering off the phone in the middle of web usage, and I have to reconnect way too often.

I found a Ebay sprint 595 mobile aircard that is supposed to be 2x faster and let me use the phone while I am on the net. I bought the 595 instead of the newer usb because the pcmcia card has a spot to plug in the external cell antenna in the CC.

My question is anyone using this and issues things to know before I change the plan?

I did get the marker light recall done the other day and they do look nice and are LED. They also fixed my air horn. Suprised that a Sterling truck shop could handle non engine issues on a coach.

It was reported there yesterday that Sprint is no longer offering an unlimited aircard data plan - now limited to 5 GB/month, like Verizon.
