Dan CCI # 30498) Allure CCi # 30498Sorry to here that. That is the first negative I have heard/read about Koni FSDs. I love my front Koni shocks and can't wait to put them on the rear. I wonder if weight is the difference. I'm running about 30K lbs.Larry, 36' 03 Allure, 30856 Quote Selected

Reply #3 – July 25, 2008, 08:14:11 pm Yahoo Message Number: 39994I just installed Road King shocks on my 40' '01 Intrigue and have to say I am very impressed and happy. We now have have a better ride than the Magna at half the cost. Our shocks had been ajusted twice but we still had Porpoising. We have driven 700 miles on the new shocks and have had no problems. Our ride is 1/2 the sound and bump. What a difference even my wife does not belive the difference. We have 50, K miles and due for new shocks. Henderson installed at Amana CCI rally and we drove to St. Paul, MN.No matter what CC coach we purchase, my first purchase will be Road King Shocks. Reply #4 – July 25, 2008, 10:37:18 pm Yahoo Message Number: 39996Capt Dan.If you have the IFS setup on your coach, the Koni 1012's are the wrong part number for the front (they belong on a straight axle setup). An IFS setup needs the Koni Adjustable shocks (Part number 90-2815) set to the medium adjustment.I know this because we had the same problem. A different shop put the 1012's on. We swapped out the 1012's for the 90-2815's and the porpoising went away and the ride was much improved. We left the 1013's on the back as they were the right ones. We had the work done at Precision Frame & Alignment in Elk River, MN. They really know their stuff. Ask for Dick 866-473-2632.Nancy Latic 2004 Quote Selected

Reply #5 – July 25, 2008, 10:43:16 pm Yahoo Message Number: 39997Mike, we looked into the Road King shocks also but after researching them and finding that for all applications they have only two valving options the technology just doesn't seem like it is sophisticated for an RV. Plus, they are really expensive and the warranty is iffy.Once we got the correct Koni's on our ride and handling improved significantly.Nancy Latic 2004 Quote Selected
