Buzzing Esco Power 50 Transfer Switch

Yahoo Message Number: 40050
Five days ago while in Creede I noticed a buzzing sound resonating from a bay in the coach. I looked in the bay and located the Esco Power 50 Transfer Switch next to the surge guard. It was making a buzzing sound that seemed a little louder than usual. When everything is quite in the coach, like when you go to bed, you really notice it. I have been on the road for five days since then and there have been no electrical problem, but I thought I might ask if anyone has noticed theirs making a buzzing or had any problems with their switch. It's a Esco ES50M-65N switch.

P.S. We're in cool (60 degrees) Tiger Run, Breckenridge Colorado, right now avoiding the Texas heat.

Umm, Lucky You! It was 106 here yesterday, just NW of Denton, Texas.
I had the same "buzz" last year from my transfer switch. Over a week or so the "buzzing" got progressively louder until the switch failed to operate. Long story short, the circuit board inside the switch had failed. I just repaired mine after locating the offending part, a 10 cent capacitor.

When you come back to Texas, load-up on some of that cool air!! 8-)

Dave, what happened when it went out? Did you lose all power, 110 and 12 or what? Do you have the same switch? I'm trying to get all the info I can just in case.
Thanks,
