Bedroom Slide Leak & Cabinet Removal

Have an '02 CC that had been leaking above the Bedroom Slide for sometime and has caused the interior wall between the slide and the roof to be damaged and needing replaced. Section is the width of the slide and about 10-12" high. We discovered this while checking the slide for leakage. This area is so hidden that you have to get in the clothet with a flashlight and with the slide retracted just to see it.
It is impossible to repair unless the slide is removed or the cabinet above the bed disassembled. If the cabinet was disassembled and slide extended it would be easy to repair. Has anyone out there tried to disassemble a slide cabinet or any other cabinets in their Coach. I plan to tackle this job this fall but could use someones thoughts and experiences on cabinet disassembly. Appreciate any feedback.
