Real important point to consider when using the LED lights - the LEDs and circuit board are contained in an aluminum box behind the lens. For my '05 Inspire I had to cut out the body fiberglass behind the lens in order to install them. If you don't feel comfortable doing that stick with the stock Ford lenses.
Also, my Ford type lenses were getting a lot of diesel soot and dirt in them which was adding to the dimness problem. After installing the new lights I covered everything with aluminum/metallic tape just to be sure.
