Convection oven clean-up

Convection oven clean-up Our 2002 Intrigue has a Sharp Carousel"Smart & Easy" Microwave/Convection oven. It works great but whenever we use it in the convection oven mode, even for something as simple as baked potatoes, brown rust-coloredspotsappearall over theinterioroven walls and the turntable. Even when the food has been wrapped and nothingfrom the food has splattered, these spotsappear. We have NO similar problem when used in the microwave mode. We can't figure out where the spotting is coming from, we've never spilled anything in the oven, and it is very difficult to clean up after each convection oven use.
Does anyone else have a similar problem? Does anyone have comments on keeping the oven interior clean (other than keeping the door closed so no one can seethe mess)?

I have a 2002 Allure and have the same problems...I'd like to know how to get the brown spots off the walls...the oven works great, but cleaning is a pain.

We have the same issue in our 01 Intrigue. Cheri uses a good stainless steel cleaner after this happens and it takes care of it. You need to wipe clear with water after cleaning. Do not know the cause, but this works.
