Easy fix for "non sticking" velcro curtain tiebacks

For those of you plagued by the velcro tiebacks that lose their stick, I finally found a solution that was cheap and easy. I found a tiny kind of hook at a drapery fabric store (Calico Corners in San Diego) that inserts into the fabric, allowing a large loop which hooks over the black screw that is used to screw the black "hard velcro" round piece onto the wood. I found that by removing the black velcro disk and just using the screw that was holding that in place but not fully screwing it into the wood (I left about a 1/4 inch or less sticking out so the hook could loop over it) that it solved all the problems we have had with the tiebacks coming loose...all for about 40 cents. I can email photos to anyone who would like to see what I'm talking about.

Dick...and anyone else with the 'nonsticky velcro curtain tab problem'...I've uploaded two photos of the little hook I got at a drapery shop and how I've applied it to our tiebacks. Simple solution that cost about $0.40. Not bad for an RV "repair." Look under the photos and you'll see the two photos towards the end of the bunch of uploaded photos.
