Electrical glitch

Several of you had mentioned that your coaches would just suddenly lose power; we had a similar problem that went on for almost two years. We might go three hundred miles or three hundred feet. We replaced celenoids, switches, etc. etc. The factory had us searching for an EPM (engine protection module) module that they were sure was the culprit. It turned out that we didn't have one (EPM) as they discontinued use right before our coach was manufactured. Last month we finally went to the factory. The problem was a loose cable and wire near the altenator but they had to find it with a mirror. It seems that the location is really the problem. Several people had traced the wiring before but since then we have not had any problems. They also changed a switch under the bed that allows a mechanic to turn the engine off when they are working back there. It could have been a combination problem. Anyway, it was extremely difficult to diagnose but a simple solution.
