Re: Coach value Reply #25 – January 13, 2010, 08:59:39 am Yahoo Message Number: 55654Bill, you don't show your coach year and unit number as is normal and requested info for the forum when you sign out, but I would bet that your coach is less than five years of age. I, too, get all the required filings of a creditor of the company and that is because CC still owes me money. My coach is a 2006, therefore there is still chassis warranty left that will go away. That warranty is worth a few dollars, so they owe me, and bunches of other people. CC says that is why I am receiving all the paper work. I bet they owe you too.R. D. Re: Coach value Reply #28 – January 13, 2010, 10:25:26 am Yahoo Message Number: 55657M...Vanderslice;Two points to be made: 1. In my opinion anyone who originally had reservations at Jekyll Island and accepted the terms of waiting until after the Homecomming to have their money refunded (we got ours) probably is getting the court papers. Our unit is 2000 and long since off their books. The court papers make for interesting reading albeit complicated legal jargon. Bill does not own a Country Coach. James M. Re: Coach value Reply #29 – January 13, 2010, 11:01:39 am Yahoo Message Number: 55658Good point. If Bill doesn't own a CC and didn't sign up for the rally, that makes me wonder why he is getting all the paper work also. Thanks for the clarification.R. D. Re: Coach value Reply #31 – January 13, 2010, 12:46:43 pm Yahoo Message Number: 55660Some people on this web site know who I am an some don't. Up until August of 08, we owned an 05 Magna, before that an 01 Magna, and before that a 2000 Intrigue. All were early models for that year and 2 were factory deliveries. All of them were DOGS but like most people on this site we loved them anyway although I don't know why. The 2000 Intrigue was the best of the lot because it was the last of the old CCs but it had it's problems. In my opinion CCs biggest problems were the Howards and the fact that the coach was to complicate. The Howards ruined Safari and then they did the same to CC. The early CCs were fine but then we wanted everything that was on the Prevosts. The Provost were intended for highend users who had a driver who took care of the coaches and we wanted them for everyone. Other coach companies wanted to keep their coaches simple and easy for the average driver and some of them have survived. We now own a 2009 American Tradition, 43 foot with 2 baths, a full wall slide and 2 other slides. The coach has more features then the 05 Magna but it is 8000 pounds lighter then our Magna. That allows us to run our rear 315 tires at 90 pounds for a great ride. The chassie is a Spartin/Liberty custum build for our coach with jacks and air leveling, We can use the jacks or air, but both systems are independent and our tire are larger then the ones on our Magna. I thought I liked our CC because of the coach but after buying this trouble free Tradidtion and driving it for 17,000 miles, it was not the coach that I liked but the Club and the people. During my time with CC, my wife ran most of the charity raffles, I spent some time as the SEVP, and we ran some rallies including the first Jekyll Island rally. Right before the crash of the RV industry we almost purchased a new CC but now that I look back I think Sherry helped keep us away from CC because she knew they were going down. We purchased our 09 Tradition at that time for less then a new Inspire and we got full warranty service. Although we did not need much. Our Tradition is not as fancy or nice inside as our CC but what you do not see is where it counts. . We do not schedule shop repairs before we leave or when we return anymore and this weekend we will be working the Tampa Supershow as a volunteer for Lazy Days and trying to stay warm. They expect big crowds and lots of sales. We will see what happens, there is a lot of pent up demand here in the east. If anyone is at the show, stop and say hello. I will be at the Lazy Days booth on Saturday giving out free nights at the Lazy Days Campground.Take care, Bill Gabler Quote Selected
