Thanks, Smitty. Even more interesting. Maybe George "snagged" an Intrigue chassis. I looked at my build sheet and mine is not 400 hp ISL. But, I wouldn't know otherwise.

Don Seager has it right. The late build '04 Allures had the ISL400
Take a look at the NADA listing for the '04 Allure. They differentiate values between 37 and 400.

Yeah, but the story from my gent has more flair! I agree, his story matches the volumes of ISL 400 coaches in 04. Never noticed the Nada angle, good snag.
I do not doubt that his story was accurate too - just smaller volumes.
