A new tow board [see attached photo] fixed my coach-to-toad wiring problem: the toad left tail light is no longer lit at all times.

The newly redesigned "Tow Board, Rev. F" (CC# 13010) is plug-compatible with my old ("PC 0708.02") board - easy to swap (if you can get at the board and its connectors)!

- Connector mounts are reinforced to prevent board damage when wrestling to disconnect and reconnect the Molex connectors.

- All input and output connector signal wires are labeled on the new board - GND, 12V, LT, RT, TL, RV, BK.

- Mini-blade fuses (also labeled) are used instead of standard size blade fuses - 7.5A max. LEDs next to each fuse light when the (output) signal is active.

- The A/B selection (separate vs. combined brake/turn lights) jumper plug has been replaced by a slide switch.

For do-it-yourselfers: the new board uses "NEC/TOKIN EX2-2U1S" relays (~$5 each); the old board uses "NEC/TOKIN EP2-3N1ST" relays (~$8 each). Replacing a defective relay requires unsoldering and resoldering 10 board-mount connections - way beyond my limited soldering tools and ability! For relay data sheets, prices and sources, Google is your friend.

Danny,

After talking to Greg (@ CC tech support) and Kevin Waite, I ordered the tow board directly from the CC parts department(541-234-2167). The quoted price was $280 + s/h; a club discount may be available.

Country coach / Winnebago in junction city has new boards made up that work. They found someone to make them for them.

Does the tow board provide diodes, or the equivalent of diodes to avoid hurting the toad electronics ?
