If California and Texas have an agreement then you pay Which ever is higher and if that amount is lower in Calif than Texas you have to make up the difference in Texas. Of course our tags in Texas are based on weight and not what type of vehicle we drive. My coach weighs 34,800 empty and my tags are $ 189.+ PER YEAR!. TWI 11731 2004 Intrigue Ovation.
