Hi to anyone who has replaced their Norcold with the Samsung RF197. We did ours a year ago, and in our 06 Inspire we chose to not remove the 2 drawers under the Norcold, now under the Samsung, because it worked out for us. We had the coach stored in its lovely heated storage area, and after getting it home, I opened one of the drawers under the Samsung, and it had about 2 inches of water in it. We had left the vents above the Samsung open for ventilation. Perhaps that was where the water had come from, and they are sealed up now. But, we wonder if anyone who has this replacement refrigerator from Samsung knows if or about the defrost cycle water overrunning the drain pan. We don't know if that even exists, but just in case the water didn't come from the roof vents, now covered and no more water in the drawer, we're checking. Thank you in advance for any thoughts.

Mary,

It is probably a leak from the water supply for the ice maker.

Good luck.

Mary check the line for it as the line may have developed a leak outside of the fridge.

Ray and George, thank you for this. We didn't connect any water line to the refrigerator. Is there still something you think we should check? Thank you Mary F.

Mary, the ice maker water line has a shutoff valve in the vicinity of the drawers. Regardless whether or not you connected the water line to the Samsung, there will still be water pressure to the valve.
Have you removed the drawers and thoroughly inspected the space below the refrigerator?
