Coach now a nitemare Reply #28 – December 14, 2004, 09:41:14 pm Yahoo Message Number: 13582Why not repair the coach with a new slide? If I remember correctly, the coach is built properly & the slide is 1 inch too small. The coach is current production, a new slide should be as quick & CHEAP as the first slide to build. Is correcting the problem not better than a patch?Eric & Terry Elliott 5 Inspire 51321 Quote Selected
Coach now a nitemare Reply #29 – December 14, 2004, 11:21:55 pm Yahoo Message Number: 13583We are glad to hear you are making some progress Gary. Welcome to the world of Country Coach owners. You will soon find that the reactions that you got on this site are about the same as when we all get together at a rally. I'm sure that the e-mails we sent to Country Coach on your behalf along with the true feelings of loyal Country Coach owners about the state of quality control going on now at the factory, got their attention. I think they might have realized that we were trying to offer constructive thoughts rather than just beating up on them. After all, them is us. As for the guy that said for us not to jump to conclusions as he knew the true story on your situation, where is he now. Hope the guy with the Lexa at Lazy Days now gets the same help you are getting.I'm sure that I speak for most of the members when I say good luck, happy trails and you owe us a drink when we bump into one another. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and we hope your maiden trip turns into your second honeymoon.John and Merilee Flynn 99 Intrigue 1087702 Jeep Grand CherokeePS--We are coming to Florida for the Super Bowl and Daytona 500. Re: Coach now a nitemare Reply #31 – December 15, 2004, 11:00:55 am Yahoo Message Number: 13594John,Feed back on this site is great but I see a lot of old fashion hate as well. The first reaction with some people is get a lawyer instead of working it out. Each time someone gets a lawyer we pay more for a product. Corporations don't pay that cost we do. And everyone should stop calling the paint problem on the doors "Electrolysis". It is just a plain old paint problem. Webster defines Electrolysis as" the production of a chemical changes by passage of electric current through an electrolyte. Some owners have plain old fashion rust between 2 different metals.Bill G. 2005 Magna #6425 Quote Selected

Re: Coach now a nitemare Reply #33 – December 15, 2004, 02:27:20 pm Yahoo Message Number: 13606Are you saying that Country Coach doesn't have an attorney on retainer for just this type of situation? It is appropriate for us to consult with an attorney about issues such as this and anyone who doesn't is not using his/her brain. Obviously, Gary is using his brain as he did consult with an attorney.Carol'04 Inspire 51046QuoteFeed back on this site is great but I see a lot of old fashion hate as well.QuoteThe first reaction with some people is get a lawyer instead of working it out.QuoteEach time someone gets a lawyer we pay more for a product.Corporations don'tQuotepay that cost we do. Re: Coach now a nitemare Reply #34 – December 15, 2004, 02:51:50 pm Yahoo Message Number: 13609Bill,You are incorrect on the electrolysis problem not being an electrolysis problem. CC knows and confirms that it is an electroysis problem, Guarantee RV also acknowledges it as an electrolysis problem. Where did you come up with your theory on the problem being just rust. How do you get rust in the center of a door that has no leaks - according to CC it is electrolysis on the door and also on the frame around the slideouts. They know of the problem and they are in process of fixing the problem according to CC. As for airing "dirty laundry" about products, this is the place to do it to get maximum pressure on those can do something about it. One on one does not solve as many problems as does the light of exposure here where hundreds if not thousands of current CC owners as well as potential CC owners can see how problems are being handled by CC and it's dealer network.I have a theory about the Polly Ana's who only want positive information on here, they are actually concerned about number 1! They don't want the value of their coach to be devalued by exposing some of the problems that have been exposed here, they'd rather stick their heads into the sand and pretent that problems don't exist when in fact they do exist. That is no way to improve the situation imo. Gary was absolutely correct to bring this problem to the attention of this group. I think it helped him to get the attention of those who need to know that there is a serious problem with QC at CC, I think they will now address that problem and future CC customers will get a better buying experience. Read that as a coach with less problems on delivery. Ray2000 Intrigure 11040 Quote Selected
Re: Coach now a nitemare Reply #35 – December 16, 2004, 08:38:45 am Yahoo Message Number: 13625Thank you, Ray. If there are some on here that do not want to bring out their porblems---so be it. If it is not here it surely will be elswhere--campgrounds, parking lots, service centers etc. So some will talk, some will not and that is their decision.Electrolysis--YES it is and CC should have know better than to use doors constructed that way and why are they using the same system on the slides. Makes you wonder, are they thinking about building a quality coach or thinking about the bottom line. In business you have got to take care of your customers and then the bottom line will be taken care of.Egon'99 Allure #30321 '02 Tahoe Z71- In Country-Coach-Owners@yahoogroups.com, "travman100" wrote:QuoteBill,You are incorrect on the electrolysis problem not being an > electrolysis problem.
