Kevin, it is Camco Boiler/antifreeze-100 degrees. The guy at Tru Value says they buy cases of it as per (for?) CC. I don't really know whether or not he meant they buy it for CC or for CC customers. All I know is that it is the least expensive price I have ever found. Many people go in there and buy it by the case, so sometimes they are out of stock. I wonder if other Tru Value stores would have it as well? Hope that helps, Hollick 07 Affinity #6767

hi all

it seen every body is having trouble lossing coolent on there hydro hot becouse of the plastic valve and VS knonws its a problem maybe they should have a re call and correct the problem maybe we nee to take this up with CC to do something about it

When we had our HH worked on at Vehicle Systems, they said that some type of plastic connector had cracked. It went directly from a hose into the unit itself and was a known weak spot. They replaced it with a brass fitting and said the new units would have the upgraded brass fitting. This was 2 years ago so I wonder if this is the same fitting people are having trouble with now or something different. So far this HH unit has not leaked like the previous one did. We kept loosing antifreeze, but couldn't see where. It took months for us to see an actual drip. The insulation in the unit had finally absorbed as much as it could and started to drip.

If your unit is losing fluid, meaning you have to add fluid, it is leaking. These are "closed" systems, thus if you need to add fluid it went somewhere. The leaks are usually small and hard to find, but be assured it is leaking if it is using fluid.. As this post indicates, it soaked insulation until it finally dripped, fortunately it did not do any damage. If your unit is using fluid, it might be worth the time to find the leak in case it is leaking where it can cause damage.
