afe filter on inspire

Hello

I got the filter out today and it is an afe canister with a cleanable filter. The previos owner must have replaced the entire filter.I am wondering if i should look into getting the oem filter housing and put it back to original. I have concerns with cleaning since the air comes into the filter from the inside.I was running around 18 inches with htis filter. What do you guys usualy see on your air minders? Rod

Rod, I converted to using an AFE Air Filter on my 03 Allure 1st Ave #30898 right after I purchased the coach new (Oct. 2002). I clean it approx. every 15,000 miles. My filter minder never moves off the "green". I use AFE's Cleaner & Oil.
