Leak and Cap Sprung Loose

Yahoo Message Number: 3592
Hello

Just checked my coach after a CA storm. Have a ceiling leak near the shower skylight I think. Anyone else experience the problem?

Also, have a cap and wall separation just to the left of the driver chair. Has anyone had this cap separation repaired? If so, could you share your success?

I can see the threads of the screws meant to hold the roof cap and wall together.

Thanks
Dean

The only leak I have had so far was at the TV antenna which is near the shower skylight. There is a rubber boot outside on the swivel mechanism of the antenna and if that comes loose water will enter. In my case the water just came straight down and wetted the bed but water can take many paths...

Dean,

When I did the walk-through on my used coach I noticed a ceiling stain around the shower skylight. Went on the roof and resealed the skylight with self-leveling caulking. No problem since and was able to get ceiling stain out.

I have not had a roop cap issue.

Hope this helps.......Steve Intrigue #10673

Yes we are, in our 2001 Intrigue #11219. The outboard forward cornrr of the Shower Sky Light Sealant has a crack approx 4" long. The water (Oregon Rain) was seeping into the passenger's compartment just forward of the Fridge above the dinning table... It is too new of a coach to have roof sealant leaks....
