New Model & Floorplans

Hello Everyone,

I just returned from a great show in Pleasanton, CA. While there I learned about some new things brewing at Country Coach & I saw David & Karen Roberts.

The most exciting and at the top of todays list is a new model by Country Coach called the "Inspire". I have a single sheet that shows a couple of floorplans, both are triple slides, one is 38' and the other is 40'. This new model sounds like a winner, it should retail for around $225,000.00 pretty well equipped. Country Coach is building this coach & chassis 100%.

The Allure has a new floorplan called a "Newport". This is a 40' triple slide, featuring a deep livingroom slide on the roadside.
The Intrigue has a couple of new floorplans, the "Suite Serenade" is a 40' triple slide with a deep lvingroom slide as well. Then there is the 42' Ovation triple slide which can be viewed in the photo section of this group.

The Magna also has a 42' Triple slide which I dont have a name for yet.

I am excited to see Country Coach doing some deep "Great Room" slides again and look forward to 2003.

Damon:

Do you have info on the new coach, but specifically the differences between the Allure. I looked long and hard at the First Edition Allure 40 ft. while at Lazy Days (sorry for the reference :-) and was impressed and the ride was great. LD's prices were poor :-)

Thanks

To Damon, CC, and fellow owners; I have only owned my 2000 Allure since June of 2002. So what do I know...However, as a former librarian with limited funds, I do find the constant problems somewhat disheartening.
Are we all so enamored with triple slides, gold faucets, electric toilets, hurricane heat, and other "improvements"? I want something that works correctly, will handle splendidly, has ample power, and presents few gliches. I fear as we add on more improvements we are asking for more problems and that seems to be substantiated from posts (Murphys law too). I for one would like to see a "bare bones" coach offerred. Or, couldn't the factory allow buyers to specify what add ons they want? On Wed, 15 Jan 2003 11:53:38 -0500 Steve Bloom sib@...> writes:

I am still amazed at the ability of one to carry his "home" down the road at 75 mph, go anywhere in the boondocks with it, in any kind of weather, with more systems built into it than we had on the boat, and have all these intricate, delicate, complicated things work at all. I'm enthralled with the ability to sit in the boondocks, watching tv with the furnace or a/c keeping me comfortable while I surf the web, and contemplate how amazing it is. I personally love all these innovtions and thats why I bought the CC. I made a conscious choice of not wanting to do my thing in a bare bones tent anymore, but each to their own i say.
