HELP......Help.....

We have a 2003 Intrigue and have a leak in the bedroom slide that we CANNOT find.....We have had all 4 corners sealed professionally....that didn't do it.... I have sealed the outside edge all along the window side as the water appears to be puddling in that area. The water drips from the MIDDLE of the slide on the inside of the coach..where the beam is between the bedroom and the bathroom sink...there is no way to find where it is coming from the inside...we have been searching this for months now...and we happen to be in Texas now where it is raining almost ever other day!!!! Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem? We want to put in new carpet as our carpet is completly ruined.....but not till we find this leak...

Paul, I once had a 40' mahogany sailboat with a leak, and it turned out it was 20' away, along a seam with a break you could barely see with the naked eye.
My 2003 Intrigue has an air conditioner over the middle of the foot of the bed (probably like yours), and in one Oregon rain storm it started leaking like a sieve. So, I threw a tarp over the top of that part of the coach, covering the AC unit, and put a bucket under the leak. No damage, except to my nerves, caught maybe half a gallon of water, and required a few days to dry out bedding and carpet.
Later, I torqued down the four hold down bolts of the AC, recalked as well as I could reach under the AC unit, and finally decided the leak was from a hair line crack in the AC plastic cover. I fiber glassed the back side of the cover. (The cover has been in the sun, hail and dealt with tree branches for seven years, so it is a little fragile). With all that attention my leak stopped. I could see, with trim pulling away from the inside wall, that the leak had been around for a while, just not enough to drip and cause notice. Now it is all dry as a bone up inside the ceiling/roof area - pull the filter grid and filter out, and you can feel around up in there. Outside, look for any break in the outer skin higher than the leak. It could be anywhere, including a poorly calked screw hole, though the volume of water sounds like it may be larger. Do not limit your search to just the back half of the coach, either, though the further away you get from the drip inside, the less likely you will find it.
Good luck, a leak is a continuing hassle we do not need. You will feel like a hero when you find and stop it.

I had a leak in the front of my 2006 Allure. The leak came from the wilnd meter on the roof. That was at least six feet away from where the leak entered my coach. My suggestion would be to check around the roof. Like where ladder is mounted, air conditioner etc. Just a thought.

I had a severe leak in the drivers side front window.
The source of the leak was not found by an RV repair place that I took it to.
They sealed around the window, but it still leaked. The source of the leak was located at Camping World by pressurizing the coach with air and then spraying a soapy solution all over the coach.
It turned out to be that the factory had not sealed the top edge of the the front cap properly. It was bubbling like a Lawrence Welk performance.

We had a leak in the slide of our coach. The water actually stayed in the wall, but made the wall paper covering bubble in a few places. Water was getting in the slide wall at the junction at the top of the slide and the side wall. The silicone sealer there was not lapped over the edges of both pieces. This allowed the water an entrance and no exit. Sealed the edges better, took several of the screws out of the outside bottom of the slide to let the water out, and no more bubbles.

Water always takes the path of least resistance. Sometimes it comes in at a point that is some distance from where you see the "problem". Check all the seams and around the rubber seals. I would also suggest you check the awning hardware screws. I found this to be a problem on my old coach. I removed the screws and put caulk on the threads and replaced. That took care of the bedroom slide. It was discovered on the front slide that a piece of the carpet was exposed slightly when the slide was extended, and when it rained it would get wet and wicked the water into the LV RM. Took some time to figure that one out.

Try removing the screws holding the awning bracket. These seals will dry and leak. I have had the problem twice on an 03 Intrigue Phil Baker 11667 03 Intrigue
