Here's a link to the National RV Supplier's list

TinyURL's work well with this forum instead of long complex ones that often don't work. Here is the TinyURL link to the National RV Supplier's List:

http://tinyurl.com/y8lehlx
Twice before, messages were posted that this file is in the Files Section of this group.
But I am puzzled and amazed. Do we have members who don't know the wealth of information contained in the Files, Links and Photo sections of this Yahoo Group? If you have not explored these treasures, please do so.
Even the original notice from Yahoo that the supplier list was posted to the files section contained a reasonably short URL:
files/nationalrvsuppliers.pdf

Hi Herb,

I keep wondering the same thing. I even reminded the group of the list being posted in the files section the other day. I then got a answer from some RV repair shop off group telling me he would forward a free copy if I wish. I thanked him for his offer. There is a wealth of information and pictures in the files and photo section of the group. It seems that some things just fly over some folks head without dropping in. By the way, your tinyurl link did not work for me.

Broken link for some. http://tinyurl.com/y8lehlx does work under some conditions. Yahoo Groups, I have just found, sometimes likes to put spaces after periods which will result in a bad in a message or a bad URL if even copy and pasted, unless the blank(s) are removed. Even the medium length below link looks chopped up in the message way below.

files/nationalrvsuppliers.pdf

The above link without spaces works in my Firefox and IE.
I have found that the tinyurl to the superlong version of the file link will fail in Firefox when the tinyurl is resolved to the superlong url. Firefox also fails even if the valid superlong url is pasted directly into Firefox, but the same clipped superlong url will work with IE!
Go figure!!!! Just go to the files sections and click on the link to nationalrvsuppliers.pdf. Or make sure the blanks are removed from any url before using IE -- one way is to copy and paste it into Windows Notepad, piece it back together and copy/paste it into a browser.

p.s. Below is a test with gt lt signs to see if Yahoo keeps the URL together as was suggested by someone long ago on this forum:

(does not seem to work with Firefox, but did work in IE from where I just copied it)
