Bedroom slide leak

I have a 2003 Intrigue with a bed slide leak... I have seen several RV's with homemade fixes. They place (metal, rubber, etc..) channel that runs from in back of the rubber along the whole slide like 1/2 of an x going down to redirect all the water and keeps it from going into the bottom corner. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Some people do it permanently with screws but I have seen plastic with double sided tape and it just attaches and comes in with the slide. Does anyone know what this material is called and where it can be purchased? Its basically a drip moulding of some kind that catches and re directs the water. Thank You Paul Eno 2003 Intrigue

Is the leak on the top, sides or bottom of the bedroom slide? Is it in the rubber gasket or a separation in the wall?
I was under the bed frame looking for an air leak, and found a three inch square opening to the outside where the slide mechanism actuating rod attaches. The "fingers" in the rubber gasket (evident in the front room slide) were missing in the bedroom slide. I cut a piece of foam to fill the gap. Never had any water leak there, just wind blowing through.
One issue I have fought all year is the "poink" noise when water runs off the roof, and hits the top of the curb lights. When this last storm finally dries out I will put some clear tape on the bottom of the top rail so it does not "drip", but will run SILENTLY down the side. I may also remove the light housing and pack the top with some sealant so it does not resonate so well. Right now it has a circle of duct tape on top of it - still noisy, and not pretty, but I got some sleep last night. Chinese water torture must be very effective, and I know where they got the idea.

My 04 facia on the bedroom slide wash not centered, so when they installed the room water could leak in as it was not centered. The solution was first to make sure the room was sliding in an out perpendicular to the side wall, it wasn't. So Chris Snyder and I aligned the the bed room track. Then I saw the Slide Room Doctor, Tom Holland, at Oregon Motor Coach Service center. We changed the wiper seal on the trailing end of the slide and all is well. Also if you look under the bed you will see two collection pots below each seam where the room slides in and out. Make sure they are free of debris. They can easily over flow and make for wet carpet. Another thing to check is to make sure the vertical piece of wood with carpet on it isn't wicking the water from the wiper seam bulb and transferring it to the floor carpet. There is a small section of horizontal wood with carpet attached that can be removed from the floor allow the trimming of vertical carpet preventing the transfer of water coming down the wiper seal to the floor.

One of the rubbing block/adjusters broke cauaing a misalignment on the bedroom slide. Once fixed and slide squared in the coach opening the leak stopped with not other new seals, etc.
Two coaches had the same problem at the Amana rally and the tech who helped me said it was a problem from several designs.
As CC used many different designs this might not be the same as yours but the symptoms are the same and in the same place so maybe yours is.
If so it is an easy (for a tech) and cheap tech - mostly time and very small welding job.
If you find this piece proken I bought a cheap hydraulic bottle jack at a NAPA store and used to keep things aligned until we home. Lift up the bed and take a look.
