Girard awning adjustment

Yahoo Message Number: 57376
My Girard awning is not retracting fully. The box enclosure around the awning ends up with the lower part of the box tilted out about an inch when fully retracted. The top and bottom of the awning box should both be snug against the wall of the coach. What adjustment will correct this tilt without messing up anything else about the position of the deployed awning?

Thanks, Steve

Steve, I have found most manufactures of these and other components have good manuals on line, and are easily downloadable. Even the manuals may not help enough (for instance the hydronic heaters - I still needed some hand holding) and this is the place to ask.
Good luck with all that. It took me about a year of full timing (and casual work ethic) to get my coach working 100%, so hang in there. The last thing I did was replace the elevating gear in my Winegard "off the air" TV antenna, simple to do. Found the part at Camping World for less than $5.

Thanks for the replies about the Girard awning adjustment. I was able to find the instructions for making the adjustment and will attack the task shortly. It sounds pretty straight forward. I even found the adjustment tool that came with the coach.
