fan noise

on a '91 CC Sedona with 3208 cat some squeak sound can be heard , it sounds like the fan is rubbing on metal. cat dealer checked it out & thinks it is the hydraulic motor we've taken it apart i can't see any thing wrong(no wear)... has anyone else had this problem & if so how did you cure it. bob '02 magna 6028
