05 CC Davinci 400

We have an '07 5th wheel and are considering trading it for an "05 CC Davinci 400 coach. We have never had a coach before and were impressed with what we saw. Our concern is "going backwards" from an 07 to an 05, but we like the conveniences and features we saw in the coach. Most of our friends have coaches so we are familiar with the ease of setting up, maneuverability, etc. Our dilemma is do we get the 05 coach, or for half the price, trade in our 05 truck for a brand new one with 3-5 year warranty and get a new, better 5th wheel, with at least a 1 year warranty vs. the '05 CC coach with no warranty and sell our truck for a towable car. The 05 CC appears to be in very good condition inside and out and the price is $119,000. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

Wow, great price. I love my coach, would never consider a 5th wheel, but that is me. Look at tire age, battery age, get it surveyed by someone that knows what they are doing.

Can't help with your specific situation but will relate to you what I just went through.
Traded my 36' 2002 HR Endeavor, with two slides, for a 40' 1997 Beaver Marquis. We traded straight across. No money involved. I thought this was a good deal because of the difference in quality of the two MHs.

We had a 5th wheel before we got our 05 Inspire. I like our coach a million times more than a 5th wheel. I like that I don't have to go down steps out of the bedroom area to the living room. I like that I can get to the fridge for food or drinks. My knees don't hurt anymore from sitting in the pick-up. But mostly I like that I can get up and go to the bathroom any time I want. My husband likes it too because I am not asking him to stop.

Good luck in your decision.
