A really strange problem

Yahoo Message Number: 61830
This is gonna sound weird. Today I came home and there was a humming sound coming from (what I thought was the Refregerator) It was intermittant and seemed to start and stop at random. I finally tracked it down to the bass speaker which is in a compartment next to the refer. Each time I turn the water on, at any faucet the speaker starts to buzz. As soon as the water it turned off, it stops.
I have checked everywhere I can and there does not appear to be a leak anywhere.
I have not removed the speaker yet, but it appears dry. The pump is not on, we are on city water. There is no reason that turning the water on should cause the speaker to buzz, ....... but it does. When you stop laughing, I am open to suggestions. I plan to remove the speaker tomorrow and try to determine if there is a leak near the speaker. The thing that seems the most strange to me is that the higher I turn the water the louder the buzz.

I assure you this is not a joke. Any ideas would be welcome.

I have a strange pickle order smell in the bathroom shower area and I assume one of the holding tanks is not venting properly. Any suggestions.

Hi Ray,

Our home subwoofer speaker does strange stuff all of the time, it seems to amplify regular household noises when the AV reciever is off. Our bass has it's own volume control and power supply so it is always on. I turned the volume on the subwoffer itself down low to prevent this from becoming annoying.

You might try flushing the drain with vinegar and baking soda mixture. That helps a lot with drain odors.

I am sorry to hear your coach is haunted. Mine is too.
When I turn on the back sink light, it causes a huge warbling buzz in my radio.
Probably what is causing all this is a loose connection sending out radio frequency energy. In your case I would look for a loose connection to your water pump. The connection may look OK, but you may need to take them apart and put them back together to get your buzz to stop. Since it is only the one speaker doing this, the loose connection is probably close to that speaker location. My Fantastic Fan was a bother until I took the connectors loose and soldered them, no more problems.
