Black tank indicator

WE have a 07 Magna with the silverleaf system. We've been parked now for 1 month at a campground. The black tank indicator reads full with the yellow light flashing. I've flushed the tank with the built in flush system and I'm sure that the tank is empty, but the tank continues to show full. I'm pretty sure that the silverleaf system uses weight of the tank as an indicator rather then senors in the side. Why is the reading so far off? Any thoughts? Thanks,
John

Yes, my tank doest that once in a while too. Usually the low and the high light are on. If I cannot take care of it with the flushing, usually I run water for 3 min, I do this the next time we travel. Run clean water into the tank with the flush system so it is about 1/4 full. Then I add about 1/2 cup of powdered laundry detergent and drive down the road until the next stop then flush it out with the internal spray. This works for me. Al 04 Alure

Searh for sensor cleaner and you will come up with a dozen posts. In the photo area you will find pictures of a simple cleaner that finally works. John 2002 Allure
